AINOW Releases v0.94 With New Business Platform and Expanded Higher Education Support

AINOW Society has released version 0.94 of the AINOW platform, introducing a new Business application alongside the existing Education platform and significantly expanding its support for higher education.

From this release, visitors to edu.ainow.mk can choose between two products: AINOW Education, designed for schools, teachers and universities, and AINOW Business, a new professional prompt and agent library aimed at organisations and individual professionals.

Both applications remain free to use, require no user account and are designed to work without a permanent internet connection.

The release also includes a substantial audit of translations, platform statistics and interface content across Macedonian, Albanian and English.

AINOW Education moves to /edu/

The existing education platform now operates under /edu/, with its core structure and privacy model unchanged.

AINOW Education includes a 19-chapter AI literacy guide covering foundational AI concepts, prompt engineering, retrieval, performance, responsible use and safety.

The platform currently contains 1,106 education-focused prompts developed around practical work in schools and universities. These include lesson preparation, flipped-classroom planning, communication with parents, individual education plans, institutional documentation and administrative tasks.

Version 0.94 also expands the platform's higher education content.

Higher Education is now a dedicated third category, alongside Teachers and Administration.

The new section contains 60 prompts per supported language across six areas:

  • lecturers;
  • researchers;
  • doctoral supervision;
  • student services;
  • quality assurance;
  • university leadership.

The Education platform also retains its 60-term AI glossary, directory of 57 AI tools and teaching resources in Macedonian, Albanian and English.

AINOW Business launches with 3,270 professional prompts

The main addition in v0.94 is AINOW Business, a separate application designed for professional use.

The platform launches with 3,270 prompts across 33 professional areas, including software development, law, medicine, finance, agriculture, journalism, logistics, public health and management.

It also includes 2,190 ready-made AI agent definitions.

These agent definitions provide structured roles, objectives, workflows and instructions that users can copy into compatible AI systems without having to design an agent from scratch.

AINOW Business also introduces several tools intended to make prompt-based workflows easier to use.

The Situations section currently includes eight guided scenarios for tasks such as negotiations and incident response. Users provide information about the situation they are dealing with, and the platform helps assemble a structured prompt for that context.

A separate collection of Playbooks provides step-by-step workflows, while the Agent Builder creates customised agent instructions based on answers provided by the user.

The Business application itself is free. Consulting, training and organisational AI adoption services are offered separately through AINOW Society's technology partner, CTRLab.

Both applications can run offline

Offline operation remains one of the core technical requirements of the AINOW platform.

Both Education and Business can operate locally without a web server or conventional software installation. A downloaded copy can be stored on a computer or USB drive and launched directly through its index.html file.

This approach is intended to support schools, institutions and organisations where connectivity may be limited or where installing additional software is difficult.

Preparing AINOW Business for this model required changes to its original architecture.

The application had previously been developed as a React project using a modern build system. For v0.94, its modules and dependencies were adapted so the finished application could operate from local files.

React remains part of the application, but the dependencies required to run it are stored within the platform rather than downloaded from third-party services during use.

Fonts are also now self-hosted.

As a result, both applications can operate with substantially fewer external network dependencies.

No accounts, analytics or telemetry

AINOW v0.94 continues the privacy model introduced with the Education platform.

Neither application requires registration or an account.

User favourites, scratchpad data and language preferences are stored locally in the browser rather than sent to an AINOW server.

The platform does not use an analytics system, tracking pixels or external telemetry to monitor user activity.

Copied prompts are handled through the user's local clipboard.

This architecture is particularly relevant in education, where teachers and institutions may be working with sensitive information relating to students, but the same privacy model has now been extended to professional users through AINOW Business.

v0.94 includes a full content and translation audit

A substantial part of the v0.94 development cycle focused on correcting inconsistencies that had accumulated across earlier versions.

One of those corrections concerned the size of the Business prompt library.

Earlier interface text referred to 3,370 prompts across 34 areas. Following an audit of the actual platform data, those figures were corrected to 3,270 prompts across 33 areas.

The multilingual interface was reviewed at the same time.

Nearly 1,800 translation entries relating to features that had already been removed were still present in the Macedonian and Albanian language files.

Around 40 form placeholders also remained untranslated and appeared in English when Macedonian or Albanian was selected.

Those entries have now been cleaned up.

All three supported languages now resolve the same 901 active interface strings, with obsolete entries removed and missing translations completed.

The release also fixes an inconsistency in the Education platform's chapter count. Some parts of the interface previously reported 20 chapters, while the correct number is 19.

The platform now uses the verified figure consistently.

Open source under GPLv3

AINOW Education and AINOW Business remain open-source projects released under the GNU GPLv3 licence.

The complete platform can be inspected, downloaded, modified and redistributed under the terms of that licence.

The project is deliberately designed so that a downloaded release can be used independently of the hosted version at edu.ainow.mk.

Schools with limited connectivity can therefore download the release archive from GitHub and distribute it locally.

Developers, translators, educators and professionals can also contribute through the project's public GitHub repository.

Available now

AINOW v0.94 is available now at edu.ainow.mk.

Education users can enter the Education platform for the AI literacy guide, teaching resources, school administration material and the expanded Higher Education section.

Professional users can access AINOW Business for its prompt library, agent definitions, Situations, Playbooks and Agent Builder.

The complete open-source release is also available through the AINOW Society GitHub repository.
